Preliminary Task - Draft sketches
My school magazine plan
The draft in which I want my school magazine to be based on follows the conventions of a real magazine as it has a main image at the front of the magazine and a prop associated with the genre of the magazine which in this case is a school bag.The contents I have sketched and planned to follow, also follows conventions as there are normally multiple pictures featured on this page.
The front page of the magazine shows a smart sixth form student and a book to show the academic side of sixth form life.
The contents page includes three pictures showing different aspects of the school life
including sport music and the general 6th form block.

Preliminary Task - Analysis
My school magazine analysis
Before the task of undertaking creating my own school magazine i have decided to analyse an actual school magazine to get a positive sense of the general conventions such as the size and number of images used ,as well as the size of mastheads used and the type of cover lines helping me to decide what I should include in my own.
